Delete Your Account and Associated Data
Prepped Exams lets users request deletion of their app account and associated personal data without needing to reinstall the app.
To request deletion, email us from the email address linked to your Prepped account: legal@preppedexams.co.za.
Include the words Account deletion request and the email address of the account you want deleted. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
What We Delete
When a valid deletion request is completed, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your Prepped account where reasonably possible and lawful. This may include profile details, account access, learning records, support history, and app activity connected to your account.
Some records may need to be retained where required or permitted by law, including payment, tax, audit, fraud prevention, dispute, security, and regulatory records. Where we retain information for these reasons, we limit its use to the lawful purpose that requires retention.
Delete Data Without Deleting Your Account
If you want to request deletion of specific data without deleting your full account, email legal@preppedexams.co.za and explain what information you want reviewed.
Include the words Data deletion request. We may ask you to verify your identity and may need to retain some records where required or permitted by law.
Response Time
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within a reasonable time and process them in line with applicable South African privacy and record-retention laws.
